My 4 year old, Sophia, just put Lia's little sandals on a stuffed panda bear's feet. Then she comes up to me with it and says "This is my daughter. GRANDPA!!!" and shoves the panda towards me. Wow. Now I really feel old.

The movie "I Am Sam"

I watched the movie "I Am Sam" for the first time last night. I don't believe I've cried so much in any movie before in my life. I think it's because my oldest daughter looks so much like the daughter in the movie. And probably 10 other reasons. Really thought provoking movie. I love social/culture conflict movies!

Ophelia Delivery

3:07 pm - Korey is at the hospital, taking care of Emily. Her water broke at 4:30 am this morning! She's doing very well. Can't wait for delivery time!

Sophia counting in Spanish

I asked Sophia to count how many horns a dinosaur had in a picture I was holding up. She counted them incorrectly. I asked her to count them again. She counted them correctly in Spanish. Should I be concerned? She does watch a lot of Dora the Explorer. :-p
